Terms and conditions
In case of discrepancy, the Italian version prevails.
These terms govern the rental of e-bikes and SUPs and the experiences booked on this website with Acidolattico Explore, Baveno (VB), Lago Maggiore. By confirming a booking you accept them.
1. Booking
Your booking is confirmed when you receive the email with your booking code. Availability shown on the website is updated in real time. The exact delivery and pick-up time is agreed with you by phone or message.
2. Prices and payment
Published prices are final prices in euro, per item or per person as indicated. Payment is made on delivery, in cash or by card. No online payment is required.
3. Delivery and pick-up
Delivery and pick-up are free within 15 km of our Baveno base; beyond that they are available on request. Alternatively you can collect and return the equipment at the base. On delivery we check the condition of the equipment together and the customer signs the rental contract with the handover report listing the equipment and accessories provided.
4. Requirements and safety
- A valid ID of the person who made the booking is required on delivery.
- Minors may only use the equipment under the responsibility of an adult who signs the rental.
- A helmet is provided and strongly recommended. A life jacket is provided for SUP: you must be able to swim and stay within the indicated area.
- E-bikes must be used in compliance with the Italian Highway Code and permitted routes. Use under the influence of alcohol or drugs is forbidden.
5. Custody, damage and theft
During the rental the customer takes due care of the equipment and locks it with the lock provided when not in use. Damage beyond normal wear, loss, or theft due to lack of care is charged at repair or replacement cost. Breakdowns and accidents must be reported immediately on +39 348 129 5602.
6. Cancellation and weather
You can cancel free of charge: please let us know at least 24 hours in advance by replying to the confirmation email or by phone. In case of bad weather or unsafe conditions, especially wind on the lake for SUP, we may reschedule or cancel the rental or experience at no cost to you.
7. Guided experiences
E-bike tours (maximum 6 people) and SUP yoga are confirmed by us as to time and may depend on the number of participants and the weather. The guide's or instructor's instructions must be followed for everyone's safety.
8. Right of withdrawal
As these are leisure services with a specific date of performance, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply (Art. 59(n) of the Italian Consumer Code). The free cancellation described in section 6 always remains available.
9. Liability
We are responsible for the good condition and maintenance of the equipment delivered. We are not liable for damage resulting from improper or careless use, or use contrary to these terms, to the extent permitted by law.
10. Applicable law
Italian law applies. For consumers, the competent court is that of the consumer's place of residence or domicile. For any question write to info@acidolattico.it.
