This notice explains how Acidolattico Explore processes the personal data of people who visit the website, book a rental or an experience, or contact us as an accommodation or a sponsor (Art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679, "GDPR").

What data we collect
- Bookings: full name, email, phone, delivery address or accommodation, dates, items and experiences chosen, any notes.
- Requests from accommodations and sponsors: name, property or company, email, phone, message.
- Technical data: IP address, used for a limited time only to protect the forms from spam and abuse.
Why we process it and on what legal basis
- Managing the booking, delivery and collection of the equipment: performance of a contract (Art. 6.1.b).
- Replying to accommodations and sponsors: pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6.1.b).
- Meeting tax and accounting obligations: legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c).
- Protecting the website from abuse: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f).
Providing the data marked as required is necessary to book or to receive a reply. We do not use your data for profiling or automated decisions, and we do not sell it.
How long we keep it
Booking data is kept for as long as needed to provide the service and, for tax documents, up to 10 years as required by law. Requests from accommodations and sponsors are kept for up to 24 months after the last contact. Technical security data is kept only as long as strictly necessary.
Who we share it with
Only with those who help us provide the service, appointed as data processors where required: our hosting provider (Aruba S.p.A., servers in Italy), our accountant and the staff handling deliveries. To suggest addresses as you type in the delivery field we use the Photon service by komoot GmbH (Germany), based on OpenStreetMap: it only receives the text typed in that field. Data is not transferred outside the European Union.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interest (Arts. 15-22 GDPR), by writing to info@acidolattico.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it) or the authority in your country of residence.
Cookies
The website only uses technical cookies: axlang remembers your chosen language (12 months); WordPress cookies are only used by site administrators. We use no profiling, analytics or third-party cookies, so no consent is required. If we add any in the future, we will update this page and ask for your consent before activating them.
